Weippe Discovery Center

The Weippe Discovery Center is an "Information-age" Community Center. It houses the Weippe Public Library, a Technology Center, a College Outreach Center, a Small Business Enhancement Center, a Conference/Meeting area with kitchen facilities, public restrooms, a Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center (View Murals) and a Living Lewis & Clark Landscape display.    

The Technology Center has eight public access computers with internet connections.

The College Outreach is currently being used by Dyan Spence from LCSC for Adult Basic Education and GED. If you are interested in returning to school or getting your GED call Dyan at 435-4058 or stop by on Mondays during the school year  from 10:00am - 3:00pm.

The Small Business Center has computers, a digital camera, a DVD burner and color laser printer for the business community to use. Call the library for assistance in using these resources.

                                             
The conference/meeting area is available for rent.  Single use cost is $25.00. Regularly schedule meetings can reserve the area annually for $100.00. Call or stop by the Library/Discovery Center to pick up a "Use Form" or to reserve a date.
